David was educated at the Christian Brothers School, Lismore, County Waterford and thereafter studied Law and European Studies at the University of Limerick graduating with an Honours Degree in 1999. He then continued his studies in Law by undertaking a Master’s Degree in European and Comparative Law (LL.M) within the University, graduating with High Honours in 2001. Whilst finalising his Masters, David began his traineeship within a well-known Dublin based Commercial Law Firm and was admitted to the Role of Solicitors in 2004. During 2013, he obtained the necessary certification allowing him be enrolled as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
David also holds a Personal Insolvency Practitioners Certificate issued by the Law Society of Ireland and is undertaking a Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights and Technology Law. David is a member of the Law Society of Ireland, Law Society of England and Wales, the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association (DSBA) and in his spare time gives legal advice at a Citizens Advice Centre in County Dublin.
Upon completion of his three year traineeship and being admitted to the Role of Solicitors in 2004, David provided legal advice on a broad range of issues for the Health and Social Care Division of a large international group of charities. David then moved to Australia, wherein he worked for an International Case Management Firm analysing complex legal issues, before returning home to Ireland. Upon his return, he practised for over seven years as a Litigation Solicitor in a highly regarded general practice firm located in Dublin, before joining Crowley Millar as an Associate in 2013.
David has extensive experience advising clients in a practical way on the legal issues they face and his current primary focus within the firm is on Plaintiff Personal Injury, Employment, Family, Defamation, Insurance Recovery and Debt Collection.
