Catherine graduated with an Honours BCL Degree from University College Cork in 1989 and was enrolled as a Solicitor in 1992. She subsequently obtained a Diploma in Commercial Law from the Law Society and a further Diploma in Insolvency & Corporate Restructuring. Catherine joined Crowley Millar in 1997 and is the head of Crowley Millar’s Property Department.
Catherine has a wealth of experience in relation to all commercial property matters including acquisitions, disposals, property based lending, property restructuring and commercial leases. Catherine also provides advice to both private clients and financial institutions on matters relating to Banking and Security including banking legal opinions required in relation to U.S and U.K. security by Irish Corporate Borrowers.
In addition to her legal qualifications Catherine is an Associate of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland. This additional taxation expertise affords her clients value added service, working in conjunction with client’s tax advisors, in providing early identification of tax issues, one of the key components of commercial transactions. Catherine’s principal focus is delivering pragmatic commercial legal solutions to her clients.
